Halloumi Sandwich

Halloumi is a traditional middle Eastern cheese made from cow, goat, or sheep milk. It is a white, semi-hard brined salty cheese. It can be grilled in a pan or on the grill, to become beautifully crispy and savory on the outside and sensually melted on the inside.Z

Ingredients

  • 30g whole wheat bread
  • 30g halloumi cheese
  • 10 green olives
  • Vegetables: lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes

Directions

Cut the halloumi. You can grill it until it turns brown in a pan or on the grill. But it in a 30g whole-wheat bread or toast.  Add the sliced vegetables, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, and olives. The vegetables, especially the tomatoes will give it a wonderful juicy taste. Enjoy!!
